Three measurements decide the fit.
Measure the equipment you own—not only the dimensions listed online. Fixed knobs, water tanks, side controls, cords, and the machine’s feet can all influence the proportion you need.
Width
Measure the widest fixed part of the machine and confirm that every supporting foot sits fully on the platform. Add the side margin you want to see.
Depth
Measure from the rear-most fixed point to the front of the machine. Include space for the cord and enough counter depth to roll The Press forward safely.
Cabinet clearance
Measure to the tallest point, then check the height needed to open the water tank or bean hopper. The 1.25-inch board and caster system both elevate your machine.
A simple visual-fit check
Your platform must fully support the machine’s feet. Beyond that, a visible walnut border of roughly 1–2 inches around the machine often creates a considered look and allows for small placement differences. If upper-cabinet clearance is close, contact us before ordering so the current installed hardware height can be confirmed.

Can I place a grinder on the same platform?
Yes, when the chosen platform fully supports both appliances and leaves a comfortable working gap. The Crema and Estate are the usual starting points.
How do I check upper-cabinet clearance?
Measure the machine at its tallest operating point, including an open tank lid or hopper. Remember that both the walnut board and caster system add height.
